Print Quotas

Faculty and staff members will not be affected by print quotas unless printing to a lab printer. All other printers that are restricted for faculty and staff will not have quotas applied.

Printer quotas have been applied to the laboratory printers. The LCSEE Student Advisory Committee and LCSEE Faculty members were consulted to determine the limit of pages a student is allowed to print to each printer per week. You may print up to 100 pages, per printer, per week. Remember to duplex print and conserve paper.

Research Lab Printers
Faculty members with research labs may choose to purchase a printer for their areas. LCSEE Systems recommends Hewlett-Packard LaserJet printers that are ethernet capable. We will assist you will the installation of the printer, connections to the ethernet, and desktop computer configurations.

Please note that printers cannot be connected to the WVU Wireless Networks. All access to the printer must be made using a computer with a wired network connection.

Research groups are responsible for purchasing supplies through the Department business office using research fund sources.
